Do we all need to match on a stag or hen do?
No. Both setups are normal: one stand-out costume on the groom or bride while everyone else stays in normal clothes, or the whole party in matching fancy dress. A single hero costume asks nothing of guests who have already paid for the trip. Can you wear stag or hen fancy dress in bars and clubs?
Some venues allow it, some do not, and it can change from one night to the next, so ring ahead if you are moving between bars or clubs. A change of clothes in your bag is the easiest backup if a door turns you away.
What are good stag do costume ideas that are not too extreme?
